Is She My Goal Sister?

You may have several women in mind to be your potential Goal Sister. In order to narrow your choices, ask yourself the following questions about each of the women you're considering:

1. Is she fun to relate to?

2. Do you look forward to interacting with her?

3. Do you respect her views and the way she expresses herself?

4. Does interacting with her energize you?

5. Do your interactions bring out the best in you and her?

6. Does she have time, or would she make time, to be your Goal Sister?

7. Does she have an open mind about trying new ideas?

8. Would you feel comfortable sharing your dreams with her?

9. Would she help you move forward instead of holding you back?

10. Do the qualities you admire in her complement your strengths and resources?

11. Is it possible to get together with her in person at least once every three months?

If you answer "no" to any of these questions, cross that woman's name off your list of potential Goal Sisters. Go to the next name and ask yourself the same questions.

After you've selected a potential Goal Sister to approach, it's time to prepare yourself to tell her about the process. You'll find specific info on how to do that in the rest of Chapter 2. Identifying and Approaching Your Goal Sister.

Book Fact #8

We considered several versions of the book's cover, including a photo of 3 women walking arm-in-arm away from the viewer, before landing on the 2 final cover photos.

Book Fact #27

It took us months to decide on the book's subtitle - Live the Life You Want With A Little Help From Your Friends. Here are 3 of the hundreds of subtitles we considered:

~ Inspiring And Motivating Each Other To Success

~ Better Together at Achieving Success and Happiness

~ “Can Do” Friendships with a Purpose
